A mother wanted to make her daughter’s 16th birthday truly special with an unforgettable gift — a brand-new Tesla. But what was meant to be a joyful surprise turned into a dramatic moment that shocked viewers online.

Instead of being thrilled, the teenager reacted with frustration and demanded that her mother return the expensive electric car.

Stunned by her daughter’s unexpected reaction, the mother shared the incident on TikTok, where it quickly went viral.

The reason for the meltdown? The teen was furious because the Tesla wasn’t the specific car she had requested for her birthday.

In a TikTok video that has now gathered over 23 million views, the excited mom, Neshie, prepares to reveal the gift to her daughter, Deaisha. The sleek Tesla is seen parked in the driveway, decorated with a red ribbon on the hood and a birthday balloon tied to the window.

“I hope she's going to love it,” Neshie says from behind the camera as she goes back into the house to call Deaisha out for the surprise.

Wearing a blindfold, Deaisha is led outside by her mother and younger brother. But once she removes it and sees the Tesla, her reaction isn't what her family hoped for.

Instead of showing joy, she stands silently for a few seconds before saying, “I didn't want a Tesla. I don’t like electric cars.”

She explains that she had asked for a pink Mercedes-Benz and not the Tesla now sitting in front of her.

When her mom tries to explain that a Tesla is a better and more practical choice, Deaisha argues that she doesn't want the hassle of charging an electric car.

The surprises don't end there. Neshie also gives her daughter an envelope containing $1,600. But rather than being thankful, Deaisha becomes even more upset.
