‘Black Alien’ Who Transformed His Body Claims Restaurants Won’t Serve Him
Anthony Loffredo is a well-known figure in the world of body modifications. His appearance, featuring skin covered entirely in black ink and a surgically severed nose, makes him resemble a being from another planet. Though such radical transformation has little social acceptance, Anthony has gained 1.3 million followers on Instagram.
Anthony Loffredo has tattooed his eyeballs, removed his fingers, and cut his nostrils to transform himself into a “Black Alien.”
Anthony Loffredo looks almost non-human. The Frenchman has undergone many elective surgical procedures to achieve the alien look, which we humans imagine aliens to have and which is depicted in popular culture.
With a forked tongue, ridged skull implants, and chopped nostrils, Anthony resembles a reptilian alien. His entire body, including the whites of his eyes, which are injected with ink, is covered in black tattoos.
He also had his outer ears removed, leaving behind exposed ear holes devoid of their acoustic antennas.
Furthermore, a portion of his upper lips has been cut off, and some fingers amputated to achieve a claw-like appearance.
The Black Alien loves getting into the shoes of a scary character.
Anthony was a normal-looking man who worked as a security guard until his mid-20s. Although he was interested in mutations and body modifications while growing up, he never pursued them. It was only when he started feeling disconnected from his body that the thought of modifying his physical appearance entered his mind. He felt miserable at the time, living in a body in which he didnât belong.
This sense of being lost led to the start of his alteration journey, and he couldnât stop. As a transformed alien, Anthony enjoys putting himself in the shoes of a scary character. He believes accepting his identity encourages others who see him to love and accept themselves.
While modification services like tattoos, piercing, and scarification are easily accessible, finding a surgeon willing to remove a perfectly healthy part of a personâs body is challenging. Such procedures pose significant risks to a personâs health and quality of life. In Anthonyâs case, the upper lip removal surgery has hindered his ability to speak clearly.
Extreme body modifications could be considered mutilation, potentially falling into legal gray areas or being explicitly banned.
Loffredo had to travel across continents to find countries that allowed such procedures and professionals willing to perform body modification services of this degree.
However, Anthony views this body tampering not as mutilation but as âa personal evolution and an aesthetic improvement.â
Anthony Loffredo abruptly abandoned his body transformation plan, a.k.a, the Black Alien Project.
In the next phase of his evolution towards an extra-terrestrial being, Anthony planned to amputate a leg and replace it with a robotic one. He was also eager to swap his skin with metals. However, in 2023, he announced he was discontinuing the Black Alien Project, stating that the process had lost all meaning to him.
The project severely affected his life, as documented in Arthur Bruel’s Channel 4 documentary “I Transformed Myself Into an Alien.”
Anthonyâs startling appearance has made it difficult for him to secure a job. Uber drivers have denied him rides, and restaurants have refused to serve him, making him feel discriminated against and judged. Even opening an OnlyFans account has proven challenging, as the app fails to verify his identity due to his disfigured face.
Despite the challenges, he earns a living by working as a photography model and through brand deals. He also works as a tattoo artist, showcasing his work on his alternate Instagram page.
