In the movie’s scene when Andy Dufrense is moving back to the cell before he escaped from the prison, he is wearing Warden Norton’s polished black shoes. Also in another scene, just before the alarm rings Norton opens up the shoe box and finds Dufrense’s old brown shoes.

This is because Andy had replaced them with Warden’s black shoes that he was supposed to polish. However, when Andy escapes the prison through the sewage pipeline he was wearing his old brown shoes.

The Curse of the Black Pearl (2003) has a lot of small mistakes. One of them is in the movie’s final scene when Jack Sparrow is standing on the deck at the wheel of the Black Pearl. Just over his shoulder, a man in a cowboy hat and dark glasses can be seen briefly. This looks unusual in an 18-century sailing vessel.
