The deathbed can either lead someone to mutter some profound stuff… or not. Sometimes they speak with great honesty and what they say may either make sense or not. Some are bravely defiant at the time, others have weird demands while others go on silently. Mona Simpson, sister to the late Steve Jobs, recently revealed details of the last moments of her brother with the family. Job once described death as the “single best invention of lifeâ€.
According to Simpon, “Steve’s final words, hours earlier, were monosyllables, repeated three times.”
Before embarking, he’d looked at his sister Patty, then for a long time at his children, then at his life’s partner, Laurene, and then over their shoulders past them.
