Ernest Thompson Seton was one of the founding pioneers of the Boy Scouts of America. On his 21st birthday, his father gave him an invoice listing all the expenses associated with his childhood and youth. It even included the fee that was charged by the doctor who delivered him. Seton paid the bill but never spoke to his father again.
