Meet the Woman Whose Tongue is So Long It Nearly Reaches Her Eyes
A woman has gone viral on social media, leaving viewers absolutely astonished and even âscreamingâ after revealing the extraordinary length of her tongue.
Guinness World Records currently lists Chanel Tapper as the person with the worldâs longest tongue, measuring an incredible 9.75 cm (3.8 inches) from the tip to the center of her lip.
However, a new challenger may be emerging. Enter Charlena Aquino, an internet sensation whoâs shocking fans on TikTok with her extraordinarily long tongue that almost reaches her eyes.
Charlena, believed to be from the USA, has captivated TikTok users with her tongue, which is so long that touching her nose is no challenge at all. In fact, she effortlessly reaches the mid-point of her nose with her tongue. Though she hasnât officially shared its measurement, her TikTok account, @charlenaaquino_gnc, boasts over 465k followers, many of whom are fascinated by her unusual ability.
While some fans are impressed, others have been left in disbelief and even terrified by her unusual talent. One user expressed their shock by commenting, âI literally dropped my jaw,â while another said, âI screamed when I saw it!â
Others took a more humorous approach, suggesting that Charlena could use her tongue as âwindshield wipersâ for her eyes or that she wouldnât need a spoon to clean out a Nutella jar.
But what practical benefits come with having such a long tongue? Charlena is not the only one with a famous tongue. Nick Stoeberl, who holds the Guinness World Record for the longest tongue at 3.9 inches, has some unique insights.
Nick revealed that his extended tongue has come in handy for everything from licking lollipops and eating ice cream to finishing off the last bit of pudding in a cup. In fact, his brother also has an unusually long tongue, leading to plenty of playful competitions growing up.
Beyond its practical uses, Nick has also developed an artistic side, using his tongue to paint by wrapping it in cling film, dipping it in acrylic paint, and pressing it onto a canvas. “Itâs just a unique way to express myself,â he said.
With Charlenaâs rise to fame on social media, it seems that the worldâs fascination with abnormally long tongues is far from over.
