As Toy Story was nearing completion in 1994, Pixar’s Andrew Stanton posed a question during a brainstorming session - “What if mankind had to leave Earth and somebody forgot to turn off the last robot?” Fourteen years later, in 2008, he answered this question with the movie WALL-E.
