Did you know?
The Malm Whale is one of the few mounted blue whales in the world. In 1865, after a young blue whale perished at the hands of local fishermen near the city of Gothenburg in Sweden, a taxidermist bought it to add to his museum collection. He gave the whale a hinged jaw so that visitors could descend into the belly of the creature.
