This is the Falkirk Wheel, the only rotating boat lift of its kind in the world. A combination of engineering and art allows the wheel to raise boats by more than 114 feet before they sail through the sky. Situated in central Scotland, it connects the Union Canal with the Forth and Clyde Canal.
