People from various parts of the world are booking Airbnbs in Ukraine even though they do not intend to visit the country. On 2 March and 3 March 2022, more than 61,000 such nights were booked, grossing nearly $2 million. This is part of a creative social media campaign to financially assist Ukrainians during the war.
