Samantha Ramsdell has the world’s largest mouth gape (female) as per the Guinness Book of World Records.

Her mouth gape measures 6.56 centimeters (2.5 inches), which is the largest on any female as of July 2021. When measured across, it reaches more than 10 centimeters (4 inches).

So, what is her story? From a very young age, Samantha was aware of how big her mouth was. Her smiles were the largest, and she could sometimes finish her lunch in one bite. Her uniqueness soon became popular, and it was clear that she was different from other children in this respect.

Samantha was bullied and made fun of by other kids when she was a child.

Her gape got her the nickname ” big bass mouth,” as other kids bullied and troubled her. At that time, her mouth was the one thing she wanted to change. But as she grew up, she learned to let go of her insecurity and accept her uniqueness. That is when her amazing journey started.

“You know, getting a Guinness World Record title is finally being almost able to show some of the bullies or people who doubted me, or tormented me, that, hey, I have a big mouth, but at least I have the biggest one in the world!”, she said in an interview.

Samantha has 1.7 million followers on TikTok because of her exclusive content.

During the pandemic, when the whole world was looking for new things to do, Samantha began to record and make videos of all her foodie feats on TikTok. She won over hearts with her good sense of humor and inimitable style. The Internet was astounded by how big her gape was. It was her TikTok followers, or the “children of TikTok,” as she calls them, who had the idea, and encouraged her to register and apply for the world record – and she did.

A local dentist in South Norwalk, Connecticut, measured her gape with the help of digital calipers in the presence of an official adjudicator representing the Guinness World Records. The dentist calculated the length and width of her mouth to determine the maximum stretch. When this data was checked, a world record of having the largest mouth (female) was confirmed.

Life then changed for her. Her followers continued to grow, and now, at 31, she is famous for the one thing that tormented her as a child. Samantha thinks it is an irony that her record-breaking large mouth is now one of the best things about her because it was the only thing she was insecure about and wanted to keep small while growing up.

“It’s great because now it’s like one of the biggest, best things about me.” Now she wants to inspire people with such uniqueness to embrace and accept who they are and what defines them. So, in reality, how big is her mouth?

A video where Samantha fit three doughnuts in her mouth became viral on TikTok. Her mouth gape is so big that she claims she can fit an entire green apple in her mouth. She has also been seen fully biting through four-single stacked cheeseburgers. She regularly posted feats that all her followers requested and soon blew up TikTok with the number of views.

Mehmet has an extremely heightened sense of smell and immediately draws attention as soon as he enters a room. But he is perfectly happy, confident, and comfortable with his long nose.
