Staff Sergeant Reckless was a decorated war horse that served in the US Marine Corps during the Korean War. She often delivered supplies to the troops on her own without needing a handler, and learned to seek a bunker upon hearing the cry “incoming!” She was awarded with two Purple Hearts among other honors for her service.
