Phalera bucephala is a species of moth that looks exactly like a broken birch twig. Nicknamed as "buff-tip," the two-inch moth resembles a twig fragment with a chipped bark and layering of wood tissue. Found in Europe and Asia, this moth developed this camouflage to avoid predation.
