From March to May, part of Holland gets transformed into an expansive sea of flowers. From crocus and daffodils to hyacinths and tulips, a variety of colorful flowers cover large fields, turning them into a sort of pastel paradise.

These self-rolling snow donuts, or “snownuts” as some have called them, are found in the open prairies and remote regions of North America and Europe. Though they look like they may be manmade, these donuts are made naturally.
They only form when there is a thin layer of wet snow on the surface and under that layer, there is a layer of powder snow or ice. A combination of strong winds and gravity then creates this unique donut. (1, 2)

Thankfully, this scenario is unlikely unless a baby planthopper gets inside your tub. That is exactly what it is. This walking popcorn is a planthopper nymph. There are over 12,500 species of planthoppers out there, and they all have their unique features.
Though adult planthoppers tend to resemble leaves and plants that are found in their surroundings, the babies often have a unique shape that looks nothing like their adult version. (1, 2)

Sea turtles hatch from their nest in groups and rush to the water together. It increases their chances of survival. Despite that, experts estimate that out of 1000 hatchlings, only one will make it to adulthood.
Watching a baby turtle struggle and make its way out of the nest and into the water is a highly emotional experience. However, seeing them all together in a bucket can also be fun so long as you don’t imagine eating them. (1, 2)

However, the Cranwell’s horned frog looks like a lot like a bowl of soup when it sits inside a round container. A type of Pac-man frog, the frog has many captive breeds that look stunning with bright red, yellow, and white coloration.
