As King started growing more and more plants and crops they had extended their gardening area to have more space for the garden.

During the summers they use the water from a nearby waterfall and in winters they use the rainwater.

They also get many visitors from Tofino, a district on the west coast of Vancouver Island, during the summer to look at the home and experience the couple’s sustainable lifestyle.

The only way to reach the place is by a boat ride for 45 minutes from the nearest town.

The radical decision they made that they’d start building their own floating home as they won’t be able to earn enough as artists created a home that most people could only dream of.

Adams and King moved away from the city to see if they could succeed at living off the grid. Now, 24 years later, they enjoy an amazing home that they’ve poured all their love and creativity into.
